The Gallery

Stark Art Gallery at 211 S. Chickasaw St. in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma is an art gallery, painting studio, live performance space and a recording studio all in one. In short, it’s not like any other art gallery.

Eight-foot tall marionettes greet visitors, a thirty-foot long flying squid graces the ceiling and a theater stage that looks like it was transported from an obscure cartoon dimension is the home to live performances of Kevin Stark’s band Squeaky Burger One. Performances that sometimes include jugglers, fire-eaters, and acrobats.

Though the gallery seems to handle the artwork of six different artists, in truth, all six are one person… Kevin Stark.
